The Medical/Surgical Unit is located on the second floor. A wide variety of patients are cared for on the Medical/Surgical units. Patients are admitted via the Admissions Department or the Emergency Department. Patients admitted to the Medical/Surgical Unit are typically in need of respiratory, cardiac, multi-system care or receive needed post-operative care (after surgery). Many patients are placed on this unit after surgery. They can include; Orthopedic Surgeries, Gynecological Surgeries, General Surgeries and Urological Surgeries.
