provided for patients with pulmonary, cardiology, neurological and vascular conditions. Performed on an
inpatient or outpatient basis, cardiopulmonary services include:
- EKGs
- Echocardiograms
- EEGs
- Vascular testing
- Blood Gas Analysis
- Complete Pulmonary Function Studies
- Stress Tests
The Respiratory Therapists at Franklin Regional Medical Center are
available to treat patients suffering from acute and chronic
respiratory diseases 24 hours a day for inpatients and by appointment
for outpatients. Oxygen therapy, ventilator management and other interventions are offered for patients with such conditions as emphysema, COPD,
asthma, bronchial infections and pneumonia.
The Cardiopulmonary Department Echo Lab is accredited by the Intersocietal Commission For The Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories (ICAEL)
