The Laboratory Department at Franklin Regional Medical Center is central to the diagnostic process and provides important information into a patient's medical condition. The laboratory provides our physicians with the patient data they need,when they need it. Our laboratory is in service 24 hours a day, seven days a week utilizing state-of-the-art instrumentation and a mainframe Laboratory Information System (LIS). The Laboratory is staffed by licensed medical technologists and phlebotomists and is under the expert guidance of a pathologist. Our laboratory also provides quick, efficient services to many of the area Physician practices.
Our Laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists.
