The Surgical Services
Center of Franklin Regional Medical Center performs a wide range of
surgical procedures daily, with a talented team of surgeons,
anesthesiologists, anesthetists, nurses and technicians. We understand
that to our patients and their families, there is nothing “routine”
about surgery. Our team is dedicated to providing each patient a
personalized, compassionate experience in a soothing and secure
environment, close to home. Surgical procedures are offered in both the
inpatient and outpatient setting.

Our Outpatient Surgery Department
Due to tremendous
technological advancements, an extensive range of surgeries can now be
performed safely and cost effectively on an outpatient basis. Patients
utilizing our Outpatient Surgery Department can benefit from the newest
surgical procedures, and the convenience and comfort of recuperating at
home. We have recently added and modified our Outpatient Surgery
Department. This new addition combines comfort, privacy and a calm
healing environment with the latest in medical technology.
Offering significantly improved recovery time, some of the procedures
we do as Outpatient Surgery are:

Our Inpatient Surgical Department
Our program relies on a talented and diversified team of skilled
surgeons, anesthesiologists, anesthetists, nurses and technicians. These dedicated professionals, with their combined years of extensive
training and experience, provide our patients the finest surgical care
delivered in a personal and intimate setting. After surgery, patients
are cared for in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and then
transferred to the appropriate unit for inpatient recovery care.
Our Post Anesthesia Care Unit / Recovery Room (PACU)
Following
surgery, patients are cared for in the Post Anesthesia/ Recovery Room. Here, patients are in the expert care of nurses with years of
experience in post anesthesia care and certification in Advanced
Cardiac Life Support. Our recovery process is backed by the most
technologically advanced monitoring equipment available, all in a
soothing healing environment.
